Ceremony at MoonBear Sanctuary for the Conscious Convergence
Liam and I would like to thank all of you who came to the Ceremony at MoonBear Sanctuary for the Conscious Convergence. The essence of the ceremonies going on around the world had to do with a unified intention of Unity Consciousness. Bringing the Divine Feminine and Sacred Masculine into wholeness was the aspect of our ceremony.
I have been doing ceremonies on my land for about four years with women. Spirit has really been calling me to start working with men now as well. Liam approached me a few months ago about the possibility of collaborating on creating a ceremony for men and women. So the timing was perfect!
With the World Music Festival in full swing in Grass Valley I wasn’t sure about the attendance for our event. I was pleasantly surprised at the men and women who gathered here. There was a special welcoming that took place. Each person was smudged with sage and one man would walk one woman to the yurt. She was awaited by the beautiful Goddess Katherine who spritzed them with rose water. The women went into the yurt with Deva Premal music pouring forth from the loudspeakers. They then formed two lines. The men came last. As they walked through a tunnel of women on either side of them they were stroked and welcomed with love. Someone told me we had about 40 women and 20 men, it was a full yurt!
I lead a guided meditation on the masculine and feminine coming together in our hearts. Inside our hearts we explored with our own wise sage waiting for each of us our wounds and joys. We left the wounds behind as we walked through a gate. We took our deepest gifts with us.
The evening was filled with a lively discussion around the positive and negative aspects of both the feminine and masculine. From there each person found a partner to do a Native American Shawl Ceremony about returning home. We adapted it for our evening. Exploring where in each of our lives we have not honored either the feminine or the masculine. Our partner witnessed us and held sacred space. A shawl was then placed over the person who had just spoken. They were held and forgiven and received.
Everyone commented that that was highlight of the evening for them. They felt so witnessed and seen and it was very powerful.
We then danced in the feminine qualities and masculine qualities we most want to embody in our life at this time. The ceremony was finished with a beautiful Gong Sound Healing by Gray Jeffery, Gray is just back from an extended stay in Peru. At that point some people went home and others jumped into the pool for an evening swim under the moonlight. There were times during the evening I was close to tears in joy of having the men show up and share this ceremony of union. What a great platform for the deeper work to follow!
